I Like Thursday: October 8, 2020

It's "I Like Thursday" and time to bring some positive energy to the internet.  Hosted by LeeAnna, be sure to check out all our happy folks here!

I don't like autumn much because it means the end of gardening and the approach of winter.  However, I do love autumn roses.  Roses bloom like crazy around here this time of year and there are places we walk where the fragrance of the flowers is infatuating!

I like the Little Libraries in our neighborhood.  Just across the way, there is an exceptionally nice one:
A three story library with amazing detail on the building:
A place to hang your dog leash:
A bench to sit and read:
A nod to the interesting adventures reading can take one:
This set up makes me happy!

Little girls crack me up.  They have a logic all their own and are often such independent thinkers.  Ariana lives in our neighborhood.  She is just 3 years old and has learned to dress herself.
Ummm...what's outside your leggings Ari?  "My underwear."  Why are you wearing your underwear over your leggings?  "Because the panties are so pretty, they should be seen!"

Sounds logical to me!😂

I hope you are having a nice autumn.  Stay well and safe!

I love little Free Libraries, and looks like you have some fun ones there! One was just put up in our neighborhood, and I love seeing people looking into it. Cute little girl, and logical, too! Good for her parents for just going with it!

Yup! Three and four year old girls are delightful. You have a fabulous Little Library. I need to deliver some books to one of ours. We have a few, not nearly so inviting!

OMG Ariana is right! And precious... let's all encourage little girls to be good women who stand strong and feel pretty! I love 3-5 year olds because they have wonder and say everything they think out loud. I like those colorful signposts

Hi Michele! Aww, Ari! I just LOVE that logic. Yes, who wants to cover up pretty undies?! Indeed. She may just be setting a new trend in the 3-year-old range. I also LOVE, love, LOVE the library setup near your house. Sue and I have wanted to make one of these ourselves and this own seems to be the new standard to achieve. Very cool. ~smile~ Roseanne

Kids say the cutest things...and they are SMART too! Love the free libraries. A great place to get books right now too. Hugs!

Our roses are blooming like crazy, too! We also have an Encore Azalea in bloom. I'll send some pictures.

Ariana sounds adorable! Cute undies should be seen I guess! Those little libraries are so cute and inviting. We have one near my house. Your autumn roses are so pretty! They're a nice pop of color this time of year.

Fall is so pretty... at least around here. It's the late fall that gets me really sad. What a cool little library! What a fun crossroads sign. LOL. I think I've been to all those places. :-)

The little library is awesome. OMG I laughed outloud about why you wear your panties on the outside!

Neat article. I love the library. Shared it with my husband. Sometimes it helps to go back to childhood and live outside our box!
