Spring cleaning...

Packing up the winter things, pulling out the spring things, it is always a process. I can't wait to get past Easter and on to the gardening, how about you?

who's outside our kitchen window?

What makes these little visits so extraordinary is that I live in a city. It's so exciting to have these surprise visits, even if it is a hawk (I think it is young hawk), searching for the next meal (take the squirrels--please). PS--If you know what this bird is, please let me know! :)

Fever

"It's spring fever. That's what the name of it is. And when you got it, you want--oh you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!"
------Mark Twain
Did it again: every year I go work in the garden and overdo it. This year is no different. It's a "take it easy on my back" day here. Couldn't find a decent position to sleep in. Hope your day is bright and relaxing!

still busy!

NO time to rest for me, although Paddie and Teddy make me long for it!!! Don't they look cute together (rare picture for Paddie to let the boys get this close).

I've been so busy I almost wish it would snow!!! Yesterday Miles rolled twice!!!! He is still the smiling-est baby and it appears he will have teeth soon, his gums are wriggaly!

Seamus is good too, still doing his therapy work. He just went back to doggie daycare and is getting a bit uppity there--he is going through the bad boy adolescent phase--not with humans, just with other dogs which they tell me is normal...
Tomorrow is the last day for hospice training and I have to start cutting back on watching Miles because my back is getting worse. He is over 17 lbs at this point!
Hope you all are having a great time and enjoying the warmer weather. Thats all folks!

Prelude to Spring...

Can you feel it? I woke up before 7 a.m. this morning because IT WAS LIGHT OUT!!! Spring fills me with such a wonderful energy--despite all the snow we have had and are expecting this week. This month I have a ton of projects to complete (all of which I started in February). Nothing like longer days to get inspired to finish things! Hope you are enjoying this preamble to the most wonderful time of the year!!!
