I like my Mom's azalea (above). It is unusual and almost looks like fake flowers. I think I actually liked this last year too!
I finished another quilt top. This one is probably going to be a donation quilt. I ended up going to a straight block in a block pattern only because it meant my fabric would go farther.
I call it, "Miss Scout goes to Paris!"
Miss Scout went to Paris to visit one day--
She barked at French dogs and drank Café Au Lait!
My suffrage garden in the front yard is just about done. It has signs about suffrage and lots of yellow and purple and white flowers. Many of the flowers are just about to bloom, we finally got some warm weather!
And I like the statue my husband bought me two years ago, just for this garden:
I saw a lady at the park who was walking her cat and giving her the complete cat adventure experience. She fascinated Scout and me!
That's it for this week! Scout and I need to go for a walk.

Have a safe and happy day!

Hi Michele! How funny to see someone walking their cat and giving it a full adventure and experience. I can't say I've ever seen that before. I'll bet both of them are happy to be out and about. ~smile~ Roseanne
You've updated your main blog photo, too? That purple flower is beautiful! Love the azaleas. I like your finished quilt top - great name for it, too!
What a fun quilt and beautiful flowers, too! I especially like your joyful woman sculpture. Love the photo of the woman walking her cat! A friend and I were walking on a path here one time and couldn't figure out what the girl in front of us had in her backpack. Turned out it was a cat!
LOVE the new header!!! Beautiful flowers everywhere. Pretty garden statue too. I’ve never seen someone handle a cat like that. Thanks for sharing
I bet Scout was excited by the cat walking in the park! That's too funny! I love your suffrage garden, I'd definitely enjoy seeing more of the signs you posted in it (and of course the flowers are beautiful).
Miss Scout goes to Paris is awesome. Love your suffrage garden. Walking a cat, what an interesting idea. Love your statue, and the azalea is gorgeous.
Es muy bonito el quilt, bonito jardín para apartarte de la multitud
Cuídate y besos
Your mom's azaleas looking fake, that's funny. They do look like the artificial pink flowers I sometimes get at the 99 cent store. lol Miss Scout certainly had a high old good time in Paris from the looks of the quilt. She ought to have her own novel.
Beautiful azaleas! It's so interesting to see the cat walking around on a leash! My cats weren't trained to be on a leash so they won't use it. Love your fabrics!
