Gifts from Aunt Bube!!!

Last week, Sandra came to visit us here in Pennsylvania and we had a wonderful time.  She and Dennis were good medicine for me and we laughed and shopped (a LOT).  I have to post the wonderful gifts she brought us.....

My personal favorite is the notebook but check out the pillowcase she made for Helena and the bibs for Miles (my grandchildren).  The bibs are reversible!  I love them, they are nice and thick for boys his age :)

On other fronts, my mom has been moved to hospital that is closer and has more liberal visiting hours so I am over there everyday sitting with her and challenging the doctors.  She isn't much better and now has bloodclots in her lungs.  The clots are the doctors main focus and they also have her on an IV for nourishment.  By the time I get home at night, I'm usually too exhausted to get on the internet.  I'll catch up with everyone as I can.

Miles is definately teething.
And Helena got some new lip gloss from her Aunt Bube! Thanks Aunt Bube! She also got some magnetic bookmarks (she had to try the magnets out on all the metal appliances in our kitchen :D). Her is the little diva in her faux fur coat applying her gloss; you look mahvelous dahling!

3 Bibs for Miles

(cuz we all know gingerbread cookies are Nana's fav!)

and a Pink Cupcake Tote for Helena Grace :D(it's pink, it has cupcakes on it--nuff said!!)
I am so touched and in awe of my crafting friends! I have got to get my act together and get more done in 2010. That is my goal~!

New Big Sis and Thank You Auntie Sandra!

Helena is a new Big Sister! YEH!!!! So of course we all brought her gifts today in honor of her new role :) . This was a neat gift she got from her Auntie Sandra in Canada. It is a really neat pillow case in a special cloth case which I think she decided to use to carry her plastic kittens (kinda apt considering Sandra and her cat, Zoomer). Helena says "THANK YOU AUNTIE SANDRA!"

Checking out those little fingers. Today Miles was very alert, looking all around --particularly at his sister.

Everyone that came to the house today got a special greeting. Helena would take them by the hand, lead them to the baby and solemnly (with a dramatic wave of her hand) make her introduction: "This is Miles." It was a very important job.
