I love this tree at the park. It's difficult to photograph but it's been filled with robins when we go to the park. I honestly have never seen so many robins in one place--nearly a dozen hang out in this tree eating the berries. I wish I knew what the tree name was....
Speaking of the garden, it's been warm for a couple of days! I'm doing the usual gardening work for fall. I hate to prune the peegee hydrange tree but it blooms so much better when it gets a fall haircut. Isn't it delightful?
Cosmos are still blooming:
We haven't had many trees turn yet (very unusual for here) but we are enjoying what we can. Hope you have a wonderful November 1!

Your scenery is beautiful and I love your new statue!
We periodically have flocks of robins that hang around like that, too - they definitely love the trees with berries or seeds still on them. I love your new garden statue! She is wonderful!
Adore that statue! Would be perfect for me too! I have only seen one robin recently though I know some do hang around during the winter. Beautiful shots.
Hi Michele! I used to have peegee hydrangea tree at my last house. The framed the front door (on stick I think they were called), and they were SO pretty. They do like a Fall haircut! And your Cosmos look gorgeous. I've never had luck with them . . . maybe it's time to try again. Your birthday statue is just perfect after the picture of the Robins in the tree!! They are probably thrilled with the berries and full tummies. Happy Thursday to you! ~smile~ Roseanne
I think that first tree might be a Hawthorn, the neighbors have a similar tree, often also covered in robins. Your birthday statue is great. Such pretty fall images in your post!
We do not get many robins here at all...Geese, crows and seagulls, mostly. The statue is very sweet and will fit perfect in a flower garden.
I have that tree it is called a Prairie Fire I love the color of the leaves and the red berries. Great statue for the garden. I know isn't this a strange Autumn, the trees are finally starting to turn, but many barely turn and the leaves just hit the ground.
Our trees are really late here, too. Love that statue!
