Greetings! It's time for another "I like Thursday" sponsored by LeeAnna at Not Afraid of Color.
Likes this week:
1. Sunshine!!! We finally have some sunshine and it should be nice here until Sunday (or so they are predicting).
2. We had a young woman visit our guild in April and give us a lecture on Modern Quilts. It was very interesting! Jessica Skultety is fun and young (about my daughter-in-laws age) and very informative. I liked her quilts too, even if I don't do modern quilting right now.
Be sure to check out her website at www.quiltyhabit.com
3. Walks in the park with Scout.
4. YARD SALE SEASON!! I got this glider rocking chair for $10 last month at a local yard sale and it was a great addition to my sewing room!
5. New Fabric!!!! The fabric is called Portofino.
Have a wonderful week!

That Portofino fabric is so gorgeous!
scout is traveling incognito!
How fun to go to a presentation by Jessica! I've followed her blog for a long time - she has quite an amazing style. Love the photo of Scout with her sunglasses!
Hi Michele,
I wonder, does Scout bark at the ducks?? And isn't sunshine a nice change? We are supposed to have nice weather through Sunday as well - warm actually in the mid to upper 80s!
Happy Thursday! ~smile~ Roseanne
Girl it's 90 here already today, lots of sunshine and I am loving it!!! Scout in her sunglasses is so cute! Congrats on your lovely new glider, looks so comfy!
All wonderful Likes. I like a good yard or estate sale..
Your fabric you found is gorgeous and what a great rocking chair.
Oh I would have loved to have been at that yard sale. What a great find!
And that fabric, wow, so beautiful.
Scout! You are rocking those sunglasses. (Yay for sun.) Pretty fabric.
I am not a quilter, but my kids each received one from my sister-in-law, and I think it's safe to say I am a traditionalist for style! It's great your getting out for walks - I couldn't help noticing the Geese only had one gosling - seems unusual and I hope that nothing untoward happened to others … Have a wonderful Memorial Day!
