From quilt top that was never going to be completed...
to pillows for Katie. Katie is now 14 (I think) and changing her room to be white with bright polka dots. Anyway, she and Denise liked them!
I know have four ufos basted and ready to quilt. I'm super busy these days so anytime I can get moments to sew, I'm happy. Hope you are staying cool and hydrated!

What a fabulous idea, and the pillows turned out so beautiful. I have a few UFO quilts I'm unhappy with, but now I'm definitely going to pull them out and give them another look.
So adorable. I love your color selections!
That's a perfect redo, and now a UFO is finished, off your list, and being enjoyed by someone - that's a win win, YAY!
I've been stalled on my UFO completions - I didn't get one done last month so I was bound and determined to finish an owl quilt this month, but twice I sat down with it and the stitching just would NOT work right. I don't know why, but the stitches buckled the (faux) minky on the back - they actually GATHERED the backing - horrible! I ripped it out twice, then put it aside so I wouldn't have to look at it again :) A sewy friend was over yesterday visiting and she offered to quilt it for me, if I didn't mind basic meander quilting. UMMMMMMMM YES PLEASE - I don't think I would ever have gotten around to finishing it after the problems I had! I'll bind it, and it'll count as finish #6! While she's working on it, I'm going to work on another one, now that I'm not stressed about owlies :D
Oh Mickie, how absolutely adorable!!!!! These are wonderful!!!
