Scout and I love to see the birds these days. This week we spied a white goose which is rare for these parts!
Our favorite birds are the finches that visit our bird baths regularly!

Today Scout is getting groomed today! She won't like it and hates to be seperated from me but she will feel so much better afterwards!
I like spring rain!
We had hardly any rain during the month of April and are so relieved we had two days of gentle rain this week. It was nice to have two days to catch up inside and even do some cleaning of the sewing room.
Today the young man that lives next door will be over to mulch the front yard for me. I'm very picky about mulching and prefer to have it done after a good rain so that the mulch holds in the moisture. It will be good to have at least the front yard done!

Hi Michele! What a boon to have a young neighbor to spread the mulch for you!! We are having a nice gentle rain today and it is a very welcome. We are almost 4" short of rainfall so far this year. I hope you are both doing well. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne

It's looking so pretty at your end of the US! We're still working on that, but the birds are happy here, too. I love seeing the finches as well. Hope Scout had a good grooming visit today!
So happy that Scout is improving! And getting all gussied up is a bonus. How nice to have help so handy to you (as we say at home, handy means nearby).

We've been getting a ton of rain. I love our finches, too! Can't wait to see Scout after her haircut.
Love your birdbath and the pic of the finch. Oh Scout you will be so beautiful and cooler after your spa treatment. At work the Canadians had babies, I can't believe how big they are already. They were hatched after my chicks, now they are 2X the size of my chicks, but still fuzzybutts, where my chicks are fully feathered.
