Happy Thursday! It's I Like Thursday, hosted by Lee Anna, we post some happiness on the internet!
First like: The garden is mulched!
It's always a milestone in the spring when the garden is finally mulched. Andy spread 46 cubic feet of mulch for me this year. I don't know what I would have done without him!
Now I get to concentrate on puttering in the garden and enjoying the plants and wildlilfe!
This is Bun-Bun, our current rabbit in residence. She seems very unafraid of me and will approach me if Scout isn't around. No I don't pet her but I do talk to her. I'm convinced she has a nest right off our patio...at least that is where she often is most days. I just don't let Scout out before I check where Bun-Bun is outside. I don't think Scout would hurt her. She has plenty of chances to really catch the rabbits around here and doesn't. But she would desperately like to smell Bun-Bun! Anyway, I'm not taking the chance.
Having the mulched garden means I focus on keeping the garden watered and weeding. It also means I can get back to sewing and reading again. On Tuesday, I actually finished binding the poodle quilt!
Wishing you all a lovely weekend!

Mulching helps a garden so much! I think it looks better too! Bun-Bun is a cutie! We have neighborhood bunnies! I named one Petun, cause she loves to nibble my petunias!
It's always so good to have these garden chores checked off. Your bunny is so much tamer than any here and how coincidental that I have a bunny photo up today too. Love this header too!
how inviting your garden is... and bun bun... Milo chases the rabbits and I hope he wouldn't grab them but I don't know...
Your garden is just gorgeous, Michele! It's fun to see the bunnies, isn't it? Hopefully Scout will let Bun-bun be!
Mulching a garden is a lot of work, so I'm glad you had help. Bun Bun is a cutie, it just seems right to have a few bunnies in a garden. Love that little walkway too!
Oh, mulching. And that's a lot to haul around. I am envious. I at least got my dirt. :-) Cute bun.
Hi Michele! Your garden looks FAB. WOW - that's a lot of mulch to spread. Thank heavens for Andy and his help. That is amazing that Bun-bun sticks around with Scout's scent all around the yard. She must like your yard and the location of her nest quite a bit to tolerate that. And Scout must not mind either! It's meant to be. Thanks for sharing all the pretties with us! ~smile~ Roseanne
Oh your garden is gorgeous. I have a trailer full of mulch that needs to be put down, just not enough time to move it. The chicken that we call Rogue gets out and has spread out the pile. Awe your bun is cute.
