Checking in

I've been recovering from a fall on ice I took earlier in the week.  I'm lucky.  I'm sore as heck but I can move so no breaks.  I have all the supplies I need and the last few days, my brother has been picking up Scout to have play dates with Kerry.

For now, I just need to rest.  That means avoiding the steps to the sewing room so no sewing this week.

Unfortunately, more snow is arriving tomorrow.

42 days until spring.  I freaking can't wait!

You have gotten more snow than us, Michele. Our last brush came from the large system moving up through the eastern states and seaboard. But if it snows here, it is not cold which is a little better. But lots of shoveling for me. Meanwhile, I am terrified of falls and use cleats on my boots all the time these days. Hope you recover very quickly. Lovely stitching in your posts and decision making re borders, etc. Nice.

I'm sorry sorry to hear of your fall. They are such scary things, both as you are going down and as you are checking to see what damage may have been done. I'm glad nothing was broken. Take care of yourself this weekend.
