I Like Thursdays: January 14, 2021

It's Thursday and time to post positive thoughts!  Our hostess is Lee Anna and you can see more of bloggers' happy posts at Not Afraid of Color!

I like this meme and read it to my friend this past week who is a therapist.

💖

My mom and my sister-in-law got their first Covid vaccine.  This is the best thing that happened this past week.

Scout and Kerry continue to play on a daily basis.  I am still trying to get a photograph of Kerry's face.

It's very challenging compared to Scout's gray face!

I like light.  I bought an additional lamp for our living room and it was delivered this week.  I'm hoping to get more embroidery done.

Wishing you a safe and happy day!

Hi Michele,
It has certainly been a rocky year..hoping this year will be lots better. I'm waiting on getting the Covid Vaccine. I'm a skeptic, so I'll wait and see it works and what side effects it has. The dogs look really happy. Glad they play well with each other. I really like your new lamp, so pretty. Have a great day!

So many people work behind the scenes to keep us all going, don't they? I do appreciate them! That Kerry does have an adorable furry face! Hope you are having a great Thursday, Michele.

Hi Michele! What cute photos of the pups, especially that adorable one of Kerry peeking through the glass on the door. Ooh, pretty new lamp! Yes, you definitely need good lighting for embroidery. I have a swing-arm lamp from Walmart that I put right over my left shoulder so there's no shadow on the stitching. ~smile~ Roseanne

Yay for the vaccine. My dad got a call from the Veteran's and he is scheduled to get his vaccine and his follow up. He is so sweet, he asked, do you happen to have 2 extra doses so my wife could get hers too. They told him unfortunately no, since she is not a veteran. Kerry and the furry face would be tough to photograph. Love your light.

This pandemic is very difficult for some people. I'm sure therapists are needed more than usual. I got sick the day after my vaccine. It didn't last too long but it took me a couple of days to get over it. I'm still grateful I got it.

Therapists are a great thing indeed. A quilting hobby helps as well.
