I Like Thursdays: October 24, 2019

Good Morning!  How are you doing this week?

I'm looking forward to a week off from lectures!
I like to sleep in the dark and so apparently does my puppy:
Scout is always hiding her face to sleep, a trait she shared with our dog Seamus who used to stick his head under the couch to sleep!
She cracks me up!

We've been getting rain storms again! And that always means a new flush of roses!

Before travel began, I was working on thinning my fabric stash.  I had some fabric in a pile to take to the guild for the "free table" when I noticed that some fabrics were the favorite colors of my friend Linda's Mom so I assembled an easy quilt top to give her:

Hopefully I'll get this top and some others to the quilter in the next week!
Have a great day!

Oh pretty quilt, and love the colors. I agree when it is still dark at 7:30 in the morning it is tough to get up.

Hi Michele! Aww, that's a cute photo of Scout. I like to sleep in the dark, too. Very dark! I don't know that I'd stick my head under the couch . . . but whatever works. I love dogs!! Pretty quilt for your friend's Mom. That was nice of you to think of her when you saw those colors. ~smile~ Roseanne

It's definitely easier to sleep a little longer in the mornings this time of year! That's a beautiful rose - amazing to see in October! I really like the quilt you put together for your friend's mom - lovely colors.

Pretty quilt with pretty fabrics. I can't imagine roses this time of year! Beautiful. And Scout is such wonderful amusing company.

scout is so funny with her hidden head. Blue always sticks his head in things but not to sleep. Your roses are fabulous! We have had a bunch of rain the last few days and even though its cool, no freeze yet so my dahlias are loving it. I love flowers that go through the fall!
