I like Thursdays: September 30, 2018

Well it is the dog days of summer here but we still find things we like!  Join our group of positive bloggers by visiting our hostess LeeAnna at Not Afraid of Color!

We are in the last day (hopefully) of still another heatwave.  The park is an eery place since the air is so hot and humid and the lake water is cooler because of the temperatures we had last week.  It makes for cool photos:

I like friends, new and old!
Scout and her friend George the cat:
My neighbor lost one of her terriers and her remaining dog, Toby is now having playdates with Scout.  They really enjoy each other!
Of course, Scout is enjoying our daily visits with neighbors :)  And they are spoiling her with double massages:
Such a spoiled puppy!

I like yard sales!  I love this pitcher I found last week:

Well it's already hot and humid so I'm off to walk Scout before it becomes unsufferable.  Have a wonderful day!

Cool photos from the park and lake! We're still in the 100's but with humidity so it's not nice here. Where in the world did you find that nice pitcher. Great post. mary

I'm sorry about the heat and humidity - it has been a hard summer for that - but your pictures of the lake are really amazing! Scout is such a pretty girl - of course she gets lots of petting and friends in the neighborhood!

Those photos are really neat. I walked this morning, and even at 71F it felt too hot. I'll be glad when the humidity drops. Looks like Scout has such a rough life. LOL

laughing out loud at Scout on her back being fanned with palm fronds and feed treats!
Does the pitcher hold quilter's juice?

Hi Michele! Ooh, those pictures by the lake really are spooky. You almost expect a mummy walking toward you or something. But Scout would save you, right?!! And talk about a spoiled dogs - a two-fer scratch is for lucky dogs! ~smile~ Roseanne

What is better- double massages, new friends or yard sales. I can't decide! Lovely to read about and see, Michele.

Your park pictures are amazing! What great shots. Of course what's beautiful in a picture is probably miserable in person, but wow. I hope the heat wave breaks soon! Have fun with the pups!
