Thank you Mary from MIP Handmade and Diann from Little Penguin Quilts ! You inspired me to do some sewing. It was too hot on Sunday to work in the garden so I put together a quilt top. Diann in particular has been showing me that anything is possible from leftover fabrics.
So I put together a top using scraps from two different quilts I made for my nieces when they were teenagers. The colors worked well together! It's not huge but it is big enough for a donation quilt for a child in the hospital.

The white was left over pieces from backing fabric I had used and I was just lucky to have some fabric in my stash that I could use to make a border!
LeeAnna from Not Afraid of Color sent me some funny memes but I loved this one and will use it somewhere:
Thanks to the precious bloggers and quilters who keep me motivated. I'm off to the garden to work......
Have a great day!

Oh Michelle, what a sweet cheery quilt. I have been wanting to make a quilt with these colors but haven't had time. So glad you made this!

That's a sweet, happy quilt - someone's (little, or not so little) muffin will be very happy to receive it :)
Michelle, thanks for the shout out! You are so sweet! I love the quilt top you made - such pretty colors. I'm always inspired by your numerous donation quilts and they remind to do more of that with my quilts!
