IT IS RAINING IN EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA!!!
We've been experiencing some seriously dry weeks here in the valley where I live and in most of Eastern PA. So to have a few days of rain occur, is truly wonderful. It might just save my garden.
My sewing machine is in the shop right now (yes I have others but I want to use my Pfaff) so I don't have much sewing to report.
My beautiful boy a few months ago.
Seamus has been a little different this week. He played Dogccer this week (the poodle version of soccer) and opened the door to the bathroom to spy on me. He hasn't done these things since May. Perhaps the prednisone is finally working? I'm afraid to hope. This week I will be attending the paper show at Allentown Agricultural Hall. It's one of my favorite things--old books and magazines and ephemera. The show will be on Saturday and Sunday if you are interested.
That's it for this week! Have a great day!!

oooo hope Seamus is back to his old self soon. If he's kicking balls and nosing into bathrooms he might be! He looks good.
I added your link to my post, thanks girl!
YAY! for rain! Good for the garden and cleaning up the air.
Seamus is a handsome guy. I sure hope that his meds are helping him. It sounds like it since he is playing and spying.
Hopefully, you will get your Pfaff back soon and can get to sewing again. I can't tell you how great it is to be back on my sewing bandwagon. I finished my pillows and posted them.
And like LeeAnna did, I added your blog to my blog so I can keep up with what you are up to!
We've had non-stop rain here all week, flood warnings, but thankfully no flooding at our house. Everything is so GREEN - except where the leaves have started turning already, yikes! I'm not ready for that. Glad Seamus is feeling better, poor baby, it's good to hear he's playing - always a good sign!
Oh I hope the prednisone is working, and that sweet Seamus is getting back to normal - big gentle doggy hugs for you, Sir Shayme! Maybe when you're feeling better Uncle Dennis and I will come back to visit you - I think I could be persuaded to play a game of doggcer :) I hope you get your machine back soon, Mickie - I know I have my favourite and I feel kinda lost without it, even though I have others :D
We've gotten some rain in the last 2 weeks as well, but it wasn't enough to fix the grass or vegetable garden from the effects of a hot dry summer. About 1/3 of our lawn is brown and dry - I think that's mainly from slugs, so we have to treat for them at the right time. The vegetable garden was pretty much a loss, despite all the watering. Not sure we'll even plant one next year - that was a lot of work and $$ for very little results. Very disappointing! My neighbour had better luck with her garden, and sent me tomatoes over the fence, LOL. That made up a bit for the lack of 'maters from my own garden!
