Greetings!
It's "I like Thursday" sponsored by LeeAnna at Not Afraid of Color. Visit her website and the other participants!
It's a snow an ice day here in the Valley and the schools and a lot of other places are closed today. I can't walk Lucky and he is not a happy puppy today. I'll brave snow but not ice.
So the first thing I like is that there are only 44 days until spring!
I'm enjoying a few tv shows including "All Creatures Great and Small", "The Repair Shop", and a few youtube sewists' channel.
I've returned to hand sewing and am really enjoying it! There are times that my left hand will bother me even though it's not my primary hand. I still need surgery on that hand but I'm not letting that stop me! It's too much fun!
Our prompt this week is what is the most exciting thing we've done so far?? Well raising a child is huge part of that but I've also enjoyed traveling in Europe years ago. I particularly loved I Italy. I have to admit, I'm not so interested in excitement but peace and quiet.
Wishing you a safe and happy day!

I’m with you. Peace and quiet and calm far outweighs excitement and chaos. Have a peaceful weekend.
That magazine cover is so charming!
I love that photo and so reminiscent of the tobogganing I got to do every winter growing up. All the kids on our street would hit the hill on Saturdays. I agree too that peace and quiet trumps excitement these days. Take Care, J
I absolutely love that Better Homes & Gardens cover. There is nothing more cheerful to me than to hear children playing outside. I wish we had snow to play in here but the winter is not over and I am still hopeful. I am not much of risktaker so I can't even think of an exciting thing I have done. Fun things, yes. But, exciting or dangerous things, pass.
