I like Thursdays: August 12, 2021

These days, my get up and go has got up and gone.
Maybe you aren't very motivated either.  For me it's just the end of the summer and the time when the garden starts to look sad.  High temps these days aren't helping either.  It's even too hot to work in the sewing room early in the morning.  But today is "I like Thursday" and time to post some positive things.  You can catch other bloggers here at Lee Anna's!

I like evening thunderstorms which makes the heatwave tolerable because I don't have to water numerous times during the day.

I like the new HGTV show, "Cheap Old Houses."  The couple is cute, knowledgeable and as they put it, "simply celebrating old houses."

I like all the fresh produce we are getting these days!

I like using this uncreative time to organize some of my good junk!

So that's all I have for now.  I know there's more good things I've forgotten but for now, I just wish you a safe and happy day!

I love a good thunderstorm, although our power tends to go out with every one of them. HGTV... I love that channel!!

Good for you ! Organizing the good stuff! I would love a good thunderstorm! We haven’t had a decent rain in over a month, I’d say! Don’t know officially, but it’s so so dry here!

I agree it's too hot to do much. We had lots of thunder tonight but not much rain. Yay for fresh produce.

Stay cool!

I love thunderstorms at any time of the day or night, but I'm a weather geek - lol!
I somehow missed your comment until this morning, but thank you so much for commenting on my blog.

I have to say Michele, I concur with all your likes! I love when rain is in the forecast for evening or overnight...everything gets watered without the hoses. And a big yes to all the great produce this time of year. Hope you are having a great Sunday!

I too have been enjoying fresh produce. The season doesn't last long enough, if you ask me! Ha! We've been hot here too but the storms have finally gone through and we are back to tolerable temps. Have a great week!

We had a couple of weeks of thunderstorms daily. Usually in the evening, then again overnight, and into the morning. I agree the produce is awesome. Love the little embroidery.

your embroidery... so stinkin' cute!
I'm feeling lethargic. I can't rejoin the people who think life has become safe again, because of the vaccine allergy, and it's finally just about taken the will to live out of me being alone for almost 2 years now. That's me. It's so hot and smoky here that Milo's ears hurt all the time (mine too actually) and I'm afraid to walk in the 'hood because of anti masker's hurting me. Anyway, we soldier on if not thrive right? And you have the beautiful Scout to keep you on schedule. Our mojo will return

My gardens are looking a little late summer-ish, too! Definitely not as pretty as they were earlier. Glad you are getting some rainstorms - so refreshing!
