I like Thursdays: April 15, 2021

I'm sharing happy things for "I like Thursdays!"  Hosted by Lee Anna, go on and see all the other bloggers who are filling the internet with positive energy!

Scout is gradually improving.  She gets another antibiotic injection next week and still naps a lot.  But I do see an improvement in her!

I've been doing some weeding.  I take a blanket out for Scout and she lies on it while I work.  Why the blanket?  Because Scout, like everyone else I know, is allergic to tree pollen and I don't like her laying in the stuff.   It will probably be three more weeks until the weeds are cleared.  There's a lot of weeds because I hardly worked in the garden last autumn.  Brad hurt his back in September and I spent the next 4 months caring for him.
I love this new seat/kneeler I got at Gardener's Supply Company!  My knee can still bother me but sitting on this little stool sure helps!

Because Scout was sick last week, I gave Kerry Scout's grooming appointment.  She's a little skinny minny now!

Brad and I get our second vaccine on Saturday and that is the thing I like most this week!  Wishing all of you a safe and happy weekend!

I’m glad Scout is on the mend! We have a little seat/kneeler also. It helps a lot. We don’t have much garden, but DH used it last summer when he refinished the back deck, he was on his knees a bunch! Take care! Glad you got your 2nd vaccine! We got ours in February!

Glad Scout is doing better and you're able to get out in the garden now, too! Kerry looks completely different with her haircut. Hooray for being fully vaccinated!

Hi Michele! Oh, I'm so glad that Scout is on the mend. It's just as hard as having a sick child and they can't tell you what's wrong. {{Hugs}} How worrisome. Your weeding seat/kneeler looks pretty darn nifty. I think we have something similar but it's on wheels - somewhere in the garage. Hmm. Kerry is quite skinny now after her grooming. What a difference it makes - I wonder if she feels chilly?! Yippee to your second shot. {{Hugs}} It's a fabulous feeling after getting it, in spite of the side effects (that you might not even have) ~smile~ Roseanne

Yay for the second vaccine shots! Kerry does look so skinny! Poor Scout looks knackered. I hope she perks up soon.

So happy Scout is improving. And yes to getting your second shot...we both just have our firsts. I have several garden stools and love them. With pouring down rain in our forecast for the next three days, it will be a while before I get to do any garden cleanup. Take your time...pace yourself, at least that's what I have to do when I'm gardening.

Yay to getting your 2nd shot. What a neat little seat to help weed. We have snow today. Awe poor Scout. Kerry looks so different without her usual wooly self.
