Well it's Thursday again and time for another "I Like Thursdays" post. Visit our hostess LeeAnna for more positive posts!
I like that Santa Claus is preparing for the holiday. I know this because I saw this at the drycleaners the other day:
I've been sewing and that is fun. The days have been grey though so I'll post a photo of my latest completed quilt top later when we have more sun.
I mentioned last week that I am often so inspired by your posts. True to form, Jocelyn over at Canadian Needle Nana inspired me when she wrote about a Tiny Tree Sew Along she was watching. That jolted my memory. Years ago when I was making a lot more Xmas quilts, I used the scraps to make tree blocks. I went on the hunt for them and found a surprising 47 trees in my block drawer. They are paper pieced and I'm still ripping off the paper (nice job at night during tv time). Hopefully this weekend I will be able to get some small projects done using them!
The weather has been cold, icy, and a little snowy. Scout and I have had to find alternate entertainments instead of walking 5 times a day (we are down to three walks). I love this puppy! She can be very expressive:

Hi Michele! Aww, look how sweet Scout looks. Rub her belly?! Yes indeed - I would be happy to, and throw that toy as well. She really does have an expressive face. Ooh, what a treasure trove you found with 47 paper pieced trees! I can't wait to see a few of those made into a project or two. How fun. ~smile~ Roseanne

Mine are very expressive too! Mostly I think they want you to stop whatever you are doing so you can give them snuggles. Now. no really. Now. It's exciting that you dug out all your old tree blocks! I hope you'll share what you do with them!
Wow, Michele, so glad my post helped you remember those trees...47 of them! Yes, would love to see them sometime. Scout does have an expressive face...there is nothing better for engaging us and getting us on the move. It makes them so happy when we do.
Scout is really very expressive! You caught her expressions perfectly! What a treat to find all those tree blocks, too, Michele! I'll look forward to seeing what you do with them.
I loved the pics of scout... she looks amazingly like Milo in expression, and he wants 5 walks a day, and snacks please, no kibble unless it's soaked to make gravy. Tree blocks! yea! like found money!
Santa does dry cleaning? Excellent. lol 47 trees in your drawer - that's a lot of blocks. We want photos. :-) Scout is such a cutie!
Great likes. Scout is so pretty. I get those looks from Bobbin too. How fun to find an old project and work on it.
