Happy Talk: April 5, 2018

It's "I like Thursday!"  Be sure to link up with LeeAnna!

What is there to like this week?  Well we had a wonderful Easter with family and friends and lots of good food and laughter.  I like bunnykins china and used them to serve small things on Sunday!
I like pansies!

I love Scout!
She makes me laugh with her antics!  She's young enough to find things very interesting yet and old enough to not be afraid of them.
She can make cleaning a bit challenging.
She gets herself into interesting dilemmas--like when she discovers her toy has become attached to her collar...
Last summer my husband lined up our bookshelves with toys she had ripped open.  I've carried them upstairs to the sewing room.  Scout focuses on toy carnage while I sew!

Well we are preparing for more snow so I'm going to head to one of my favorite places--the farmer's market!  I'll stock up before the wintry weather returns!
Have a safe and happy week!

Your Bunnykins china is perfect for Easter. LOL poor scout. Bobbin got her head stuck back in the cone of shame the other day while playing. Doesn't seem to phase her. Gorgeous pansies. I am awaiting spring....hopefully soon. Awoke to a skiff of snow this morning.

Oooo Scout and Milo look so much alike, and both of them like to tear up toys. Cole never tore into his toys, but Milo sees each one as a challenge. He lies the same way, he stands the same way at the door, he grabs just about everything his Enormous Poodle Teeth can reach.
I saw him next to a golden doodle this week, and he was almost as tall, but teensy in build compared to her... anyway I just love her gray face

Hi Michele,
Aww, those pictures of Scout are fab. That one where she has the toy attached to her collar, and then looking out the door are priceless. That face! It's so expressive. I love pansies, too. This is the first year I didn't plant iceberg ones - or whatever they are called but they like the cold weather and bloom for a couple of years in Fall and early Spring. It sounds like you had a wonderful Easter. ~smile~ Roseanne

Mmm... love that china and the pansies. And Scout is such a pretty girl - I love that grey on her nose.

We shouldn't laugh when our pets look mournful (like the fifth picture), but I guess it's OK when they bring it on themselves and it can be fixed!

We are under a Winter Storm Watch ... yep, still winter here!

Oh. I have a lion puppet who is losing his head on my sewing table at the moment!
I have been reluctant to stitch it though because I wanted it to remain a children's lion puppet. But someone else in this house thought it was fun to get Holly to play with it. Not that she doesn't have enough creatures with the stuffing shaken out of tooth holes.
I like the frilly pansy in the photo. My mom likes pansies.

Awwwwwwwwwwwww the Bunnykins china is almost as sweet as HRP Scoutessa :D

We went out shopping this morning and were in almost white-out conditions on and off for most of the morning. The sun was out the whole time, but the snow just kept coming! And we're not done with it yet - oh no! There's snow in our local forecast for Monday, and Tuesday, and Thursday >:( Spring spring spring - where art thou? LOL! It's quite cold still, but at least the sun is out more, and the snow isn't accumulating - it's just dusting everything. There aren't any pansies in our immediate future, that's for sure! ;)

Bunnykins is so special. We have a piece of Hubby's from when he was a baby and he is 78 now! Love pansies too (who doesn't) esp. the purples. We have had no further snow, but going below freezing each night. And Scout is such a fount of amusement; enjoy the puppy state. Our dogs are actually slowing down now which seems to have happened fast for both of them.
