Had I the Heaven's Embroidered Cloth

Here's a close up from MY baby blanket.  I have to get moving here and get over to the hospital to see Mom before more snow moves in.  After that, I'll be cleaning up the sewing room (still) and getting some projects done.

In other news, Seamus was featured in the local newspaper as the pet of the week.  He has now been invited to visit a local middle school's dog club.  We shall talk about therapy dogs and poodles in general.  He doesn't do many tricks but does a real good job at loving up to folks.  Should be fun for all!  I'm very pleased that his article came out so well.

Have a great day!!!!!!!!

Mickie! I was so glad to hear from you. I'm afraid I've been blogging hermit of late, posting occasionaly but not getting time to go around and visit.

I've been catching up on your posts. Sorry to hear your mother is back in the hospital. I know it's hard and every one just wants to be home.

I am always amazed at how many projects you get done! Your pie quilt and the Christmas tree wtih your dogs are so special. You are so talented!

I'm glad you had a good Christmas. I've heard from many people who felt the same about doing less and enjoying the important things more. We sure make a lot stress for ourselves trying to do so much and do it all perfectly! I'm ready to simplify and let go of some control!
Hugs,
Dawn

Thanks for your visit and nice comment on my weblog.
Your baby blanket is so cute! You make a lot of beautiful things. The poodles are looking great too. I hope it will soon get better with your mother so she can leave the hospital again.
