It's Thursday and time to post things we like! Hosted by Lee Anna, we share positive things in an attempt to fill the internet with good energy!
This week I'm grateful for service contracts. Our furnace broke and the only reason I probably noticed it was because the temperature dropped and I realized the heat hadn't kicked on :( How cold was it? Well I was wearing long underwear, two sweatshirts in my house and baking like a crazy lady.
The good news is that we got the furnace repaired on Sunday and all the parts and labor were FREE!
Scout got a haircut!
Doesn't she look pretty?
My brother decided to help Scout out with my Mom's dog Kerry. All Kerry wants to do is jump all over Scout and bite at her. Scout then tires of this-- in about 10 minutes--and wants to go home. Jim decided enough is enough and bought two different chew bones for them to work on and voila~! Peace reigned once more. I could actually have a conversation with my mother in peace!
No matter which bone Scout has, it's the one that Kerry must have.
Scout has discovered a variety of ways to prevent bone theft. Here's an interesting technique:
Lay on it while you gnaw it!

In other good news, I went to the doctor for my first routine check-up since the pandemic and all my numbers are great!
I hope you are having a peaceful and happy spring!
Have a safe and happy day!

bone theft... it's an international problem! Sounds like a good mystery story.
Good for the repairs to be free and scout is indeed beautiful. Kerry is just there to remind us how soon the puppy in us turns to adult
I think Scout is very creative in protecting her bone! Smart girl. Glad you had a good check-up and also that the furnace is fixed!
Hi Michele! Wowee - that's fabulous that you were able to get the furnace fixed and the parts AND labor were free! Score! So glad you got a chance to visit with your mom - I think the chew toy status, where Kerry wants what Scout has, is totally normal. It seems to happen with my two littles, as Addison always wants what Dominic has. ~smile~ Roseanne
Yay for good contracts. And Scout looks lovely. Kerry's attitude towards bones sounds very guinea pig-ish. lol. Someone else's stuff always tastes better!
So nice to get the furnace fixed for free! I like hearing about Kerry and Scout. Nice to hear you had a good doctor's appointment!
