First like: We got some rain!
I think it had been 4 weeks since we got any. We could sure use more and I would love a quiet rainy day to stay inside and just putter.
Another thing to like: Tomorrow is my wonderful brother's birthday!
Hey I have or had that cook book (Betty Crocker's Cook Book for Boys and Girls)!
Jim is also Lucky's favorite person (besides me). Actually it's funny, Lucky doesn't know who to sit on for pets when Jim and I are together. So he goes back and forth as if to give us equal time.
Lana's prompt is about learning styles. I grew up around a lot of music and as long as I heard it, I could remember it. Unfortunately, I don't hear as well these days. I do use hearing aids but I don't always catch what is being said or going on. The closed caption is always on my tv these days and my brother says his is too. Well we get older...

I am also grateful that we are finally get some rain!
We got rain, too - it was wonderful! We have the captions on our shows, too, and not necessarily because of our hearing. It just helps me keep track of the dialogue better! (Especially if someone has a British or Australian accent!)
