luncheon cloth

Last week I went to an estate sale and purchased a box of linens for a very VERY low price. This was why I bought the box: My photo doesn't do it justice (the yellow is the camera lighting, not the cloth).
The workmanship is excellent. I particularly like the way she made the intersections darker than the lines. Not sure what I am going to do with it--right now I'm just holding on to it until I decide what shape dining room table I will get...

That cloth is so pretty -- I've always liked the look of checks and plaids done in cross stitch. Are we going to see the other goodies I can see hanging on the line.

Very nice find! The ones on the clothes line look great too. All the vintage linens I find have lots of stains and I'm never sure if they'll come out so I usually don't by them.
