Thursday, Thursday

Hello and how are you doing?

Well it's time pump some positive energy into the internet!  Here are somethings that are making me happy.

It rained overnight and it was the first good rain in months.  It's a relief since most of us have water restrictions these days.  I've not been so worried about the flowers but have been concerned about our trees and bushes.  Let's hope this is the start of a wetter season!

My niece and her family live a few hours away but two weeks ago we had a nice visit from her and her 2 year old daughter.  We did an early Christmas celebration and Remi loved all her gifts.  She was especially happy with her new doctor kit.

We all received nice physicals and pretend shot from Dr. Remi!
She certainly made us all feel better!

Sewing!
I'm doing a lot of sewing and have even used up a lot of scraps making table runners for family and friends.

Lana asked what are we cooking for a family dinner?  Well my family loves lasagna so that would be an easy one.  For Thanksgiving I'm making a lot of the meal including potato filling--my husband's favorite!

Wishing you a safe and happy day!

It's raining here too and we really need it! So nice to get together with family. Your table runners make great gifts!

We've had enough rain to make the leaves hard to blow and even harder to mulch. A bag of wet leaves is so much heavier than dry. Good thing I don't have to worry about it, but DH does.

I'd have lasagna for Thanksgiving dinner - yum! A doctor kit looks like a great gift for little Remi. Those are really pretty tablerunners, too. They'll make lovely gifts!

Dr. Remi is adorable. Probably helps to keep the shots painless with all that cuteness. Lol! We'll be serving up lasagne around here too ... only it'll be around Christmas as we're expecting a houseful. Very nice tablerunners. It's always a good day when we use up our scraps.
