Holiday Thursday: April 18, 2019

Good morning and holiday greetings!
My neighbor has decorated the forsythia bush and it makes me smile every time I see it!

In the garden, the bleeding heart are blooming and everything is awakening.  Every time I step out, it is greener and greener.

I just love this lovely arrangement we found when we were walking.
The flowers were growing between the cracks of the pavement!  Isn't it lovely?

We had storms this past week and many of the daffodils are fading now.  The doubles are just blooming now!

And now for news on Scout.  She is getting groomed the last day of this month.  She makes me laugh at this point because she is so hyper that she keeps missing bunny sightings.  One day this past week there was a bunny not one feet from her and standing so still with fear.  Scout didn't notice her at all/ She was convinced that the tree stump on the other side of the alley was an animal she missed the whole show.

It's a quiet holiday for us.  So many family members have health problems and we are just focusing on them instead of big togethers.

Wishing you a happy and blessed holiday!

Hi Michele! Oh what lovelies you share with us today. And such pretties growing in the sidewalk crack!! I can't believe Scout missed the bunny right in front of her - goofy girl. I wish good health for your friends and peeps, and Happy Easter to you. ~smile~ Roseanne

What a lovely Spring/Easter post. That bunny is so sweet. Hope everyone heals quickly so you can enjoy a little Spring.

It is such a treat to see such blooms, so enjoyable to look at. And little bunny and Scout missing him. Too funny. Yes, it's bad to be poor, but worse to be sore, as the old saying goes. It seems more ailments come with the aging no matter how hard we strive for good health. Take Care now.

Loved seeing all the flowers in your post. Forsythia was my mom's favorite, we saw so many blooming all over on our trip that now I think I need my own somewhere in our yard. And I also love the bleeding hearts, so pretty! Hope Scout gets to see the Easter bunny one day soon. Have a great weekend & Happy Easter!

Brilliant Spring time colors and Happy Holiday to you and yours. My brother use to deliver newspapers in a retirement area that had wild bunnies. They would freeze still as he passed on his bike, then run under the bushes.

Such pretty flowers! I, too, love seeing more green every time I go outside. Funny Scout - but lucky bunny, lol! Happy Easter!

oh Scout... Milo is just as hyper. And Mr. Bunny catcher except when he mistakes a big gray rock for a bunny. He must be the first person anywhere we go. Life must be highly exciting to these two.

What a cute little bunny. Scout, you big goof. Our bleeding heart has leaves, but no flowers yet. You have lots of pretty flowers.

Happy Easter, and I hope your family health problems improve with time. I love the idea of Scout missing the bunny for the perceived-something-cooler. Mine love (read pull my arm off trying to chase) bunnies on walks, so I'm always hoping they don't see them! The egg-filled forsythia is great too!
