Happy Valentine's Day! February 14, 2019

Happy Valentine's Day!
It's Thursday and time for "I like Thursday" sponsored by LeeAnna at Not Afraid of Color!

My husband was so excited a week ago because "crazy quilt" was one of the answers on his crossword puzzle!  He does a bunch of these puzzles each day but never had this answer before.  The clue was "Hodge podge".

34 Days Until Spring!

Last weekend I watched the Mr. Rogers documentary on Netflix.  It was wonderful!

This is the little lab puppy from our dog training school.  He is hilarious!

His name is "Bo" and he has grown leaps and bounds since our first class 5 or 6 weeks ago.  He is very young (I'd say about 6=8months) and refused to do anything being taught him (including walking).  Just say "heal" and the boy would lay down on the floor and do nothing.  His people would plead and cajole and bribe but he would just lay on the floor as they tried to drag him along.  Any time he actually takes a few steps, the whole class erupts in applause and laughter. We love him! Each week he is just getting bigger and bigger...but that is puppyhood for ya.

I hope you have a pleasant and fun week!  Take care!

Hi Michele! Oh, that yellow lab puppy is so pretty. If I could have dogs, that is the exact kind I would want. How funny that he would lay down for heal. HAHA! How is Scout liking the training classes? Woot woot to 34 days until Spring! ~smile~ Roseanne

I didn't know there was a Mr Rogers documentary. Now I know what I'm watching today! I love funny puppies and Bo looks like a jokester! I'm ready for spring!

I love a lab puppy. They mature slowly if at all, my girl was a puppy all her life! She had to do two sessions of basic obedience. That vintage card is so sweet.
Oh and Milo sees a treat, and does every trick in his roster without my saying a thing. Sit, down, roll over, look over your shoulder, shake, touch, kiss... boom boom boom. I just laugh an try to get him to do just what I asked instead. His personality is a lot like my lab's was in playfulness. He's going through a fearful phase though, is Scout?

We loved the Mr. Rogers documentary, too - thought it was so well done, and there was so much I didn't know about him and his show! Happy Valentines Day!

I enjoyed that documentary as well...I did not grow up with Mr. Rogers but know about him and learned so much more from that show. Remarkable person. Yes, we need lots of encouragement for spring to come. Cute dog...lots of labs in our family and they are slow to mature that's a fact.

I'll have to look for that documentary. Read a book about him last year and really enjoyed it. Hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day and weekend!

I have that documentary on my watch list. Soon, I hope. What a funny puppy. I'd like enough snow to go snowshoeing -- but then I'd certainly be ready for spring, too!

That lab puppy sounds like Bobbin and I in our first group class Wednesday. 30+ huge dogs...then there is Bobbin. I do a crossword every day online. Cute pic of the bunny...oh spring....I got excited because I was looking at the temps slowly creeping up the next few days.
