Work is Good: Thursday Likes, October 11, 2018

So I'm now having problem posting on your blogs.  The emails get bounced back to me.  I'm not sure what to do with this latest situation.  The explainations  I find boggle me these days.

How is your week going?

Well Carol came home on Tuesday and that is good!
We go for walks in the morning (we got caught in the rain this morning and took shelter at our friends' porch).  Scout is very glad to see her friend!  Carol is doing much better physically but has a ways to go yet with her cognition.  Everything takes time.
I finished a stack of mug rug thingys for the kids in our lives and am sending Halloween packages out this weekend.

I like collecting gardening ideas.  When the weather allows, I'm clearing out plants I'm just tired of or that have become overgrown.  I like this idea I found at the rose garden of heuchera (coral bells) under this bush.

This is really my life most days now.  I'm writing every day for about 5 hours and it is hard work.  I have a rough draft done for one progam and am hoping to complete a draft for a second program by the end of next week.
Work is keeping me going these days and it is my escape during these bleak days.  I hope you are finding solace somewhere as well.

Hi Michele! Aww, your Halloween mug rugs look like fun and will be enjoyed. Agg, last Saturday was so disappointing. But a lot of things are disappointing to me lately. All we can do is use our voice and vote, and encourage others to do the same. I heard that Taylor Swift told her followers to go register to vote and 65,000 did between the ages of 18-25. How fabulous is that?!! Now if they just follow through on November 6th as well. I love seeing that picture of Carol with Scout right by her side! ~smile~ Roseanne

Well that is so good to see Carol at home and she must be so happy too. I have Coral Bells all over the place here and not nearly as healthy looking as in your photo. Mug rugs are so great; I keep meaning to do some smaller projects like that. Good luck with the marathon writing!

Hi Mickie, Scout looks beautiful as she puts on her nurse's cap to help Carol home. I now want to know what your new programs will be about! LeeAnna

The picture of Scout with Carol is so dear - you and Scout are great friends to her! I'm glad she's home and improving. I bet the kids love their Halloween packages - mug rugs are so much fun to sew!

Cute mug rugs. I like your garden, it looks so orderly compared to my "hippie" garden (What my kids call mine). Glad Carol is home, and the picture of Scout and Carol is great.
