Baby it's cold outside!!!

Lucky and my brother don't just make me happy but often I have to laugh outloud at their antics.  Lucky's favorite person is Jim...

Lucky was very happy with his new Foxy toy and while he was playing with new Foxy, I disposed of old Foxy. 😉

I was feeling bad.  I thought I had forgotten my great nephew's birthday back in the fall.  I had covid at the time.  My niece assured me I had a gift delivered to him and told me, "It doesn't matter, we have a birthday party every week."

My great niece Remi will be 3 in May.  She loves to blow out the candles on a cake.  Every week, her family sticks a candle in a piece of food and Remi sings "Happy Birthday" to someone in the family.  Then Remi blows out their candle.  Maggie sent me the cutest video of this.  It just cracked me up.  Maybe we should all celebrate someone in our family once a week...

Greetings and salutations from Northeast Pennsylvania!

How is your winter going so far?

Well it's time for "I like Thursdays" and to be honest, I forgot about it for a few weeks.  The days have been flying by!  For more positive posts, visit our friends via our hostess, LeeAnna at Not Afraid of Color!

We've had pretty regular snowfall but only an inch or so at a time.  Then it usually melts and we get more.  I like that the shoveling is easier and I can handle it myself.

I've been sewing on a regular basis and still practicing a lot of hand sewing.  This week I practiced the ladder stitch and some outline stitches on embroidery.  

Other things I like lately:  The youtube videos on "Marion's World"!  

I find her tutorials and work very inspiring.  She does a lot of sewing and some other things as well.  I like her and really like how she does her tutorials as well.  Check her out!

I also like The Repair Shop on Youtube.  I find the episodes very relaxing before bedtime.  Lucky likes them too!

Speaking of Lucky, I've had to order a new Foxy for him.  It's still his favorite toy but it is so threadbare it's not even safe for him anymore.  He loved it and it here it is before the lower half of foxy fell off:

New Foxy comes tomorrow and I can't wait to see his response!
