Happy Thursday!
It's "I like Thursday" and time to celebrate good things in life! Visit LeeAnna at Not Afraid of Color for more positive posts!
I like that my husband is on vacation for two weeks after working in Quebec for a month. His boss made him take this time and hubby wasn't happy...but Lucky and I are pleased!
I like this:
This week Lana's prompt is:
"Did you get a new notebook and paper to use that year? I remember picking a notebook was a big deal. I remember the year I got thin ruled paper instead of big lines. I remember getting flair pens to use instead of pencils and I had a cartridge ink pen one year too. Do you still likehaving notebooks and calling them journals?
I don't remember us shopping for these things but I do remember having them. In public school, the kids got free pencils and tablets unlike Catholic schools. I do remember when we switched from fountain pens to bic ball point pens.
It was a BIG DEAL when we were allowed to do that. Bic pens seemed like a luxury item and it was great not getting ink all over as I often did with a fountain pen.
Wishing you a safe and happy weekend!

How nice for two weeks off! They will fly by.
Enjoy the holiday time!
So glad your hubby is home for awhile! Go Phillies! I do remember when Bic ballpoint pens became a thing - and they wrote so smoothly, too.
So nice to have your husband home! I don't remember anything about pens or paper when I was in school. Not sure why!!
Enjoy your precious time with hubby home. We used ink pens in school and I don't remember the change over. I still use an ink pen for my journals. Old fashioned to the core here, Michele. :)
