February Funk


"The sun did not shine. It was too wet to play. So we sat in the house all that cold, cold, wet day. I sat there with Greta. We sat there, we two. And I said, 'how I wish we had something to do!' Too wet to go out and too cold to play ball. So we sat in the house. We did nothing at all".....--Dr. Seuss, poodled.

 32 days until Spring and we are in the normal February Funk.  Not enough exercise, too many grey days;  no wonder I lose my creative mojo during this weather.  

 Sewing does help and I have a number of pieces in the pipeline just waiting for the final binding stitches.  I hope to post a few photos soon.

    oh I know, I know. It's been gray, and again today gray.

    Thank goodness for studio daylight bulbs.
    All that gray and Cole had to be groomed too... he felt like a persecuted poodle. Leeanna

    LOL @ Allie's comment - how appropos! It's been dreary here too - and cold, brrrrrrrrrrrr. Today it's bright and sunny, but very cold. Walks have been few and far between - yesterday we cut our walk in half because the sidewalks were so slippery under the snow! March is coming, though - there's an end in sight. We may still be getting snow in April, but the sap WILL start running eventually ;) I've ordered some fun beads and have some pretty Retreat bags kitted ready to stitch and embellish - anything to stay in the house and keep busy, lol!
